I upgraded our TFS2012 to 2013 (and SQL 2008R2 Enterprise to SQL 2012 Standard).
TFS2013 is supposed to be compatible with SP 2010.
To cut a long story short, I broke sharepoint. I started a new farm and attached the content database WSS_Content. All our sites were listed, but when I tried to visit them they didn't exist.
How do I restore WSS_Content correctly so that all our sites and documents can be seen?
Excel Services Application - Ribbon - Properties Option disabled. Please help me.

We have a user that's having some strange login issues with Audiences. AD has her listed with her new name, but her User Profile shows her maiden name, and she's unable to see content targeted to her Audiences.

What is the best path forward for updating to the current October 2014 CU?
It is my understanding that installing SP2 will install all of the CU's that were released since SP1. Is this correct?
Once SP2 is installed can I go straight to the October 2014 CU and be up to date?

Over the past few months we had occasions where established users trying to connect to my production SharePoint 2010 farm receive a correlation error page when trying to access the farm. I have two WFEs load balanced and the errors show up on either so it doesn't happen on just on or the other. Specifically today it was three users in one office out of about 15 that were affected the rest were able to access the farm without any problems and there were no other reports from other offices. Each time the user can eventually get in without any outside intervention it just seems to fix itself after a few hours. Each time it happens I search the logs for the CorrelationID(s) and everytime I see the same set of errors in the ULS logs. I also go check the Windows Security logs to make sure they connected to the server okay. I've confirmed that the Web App's PortalSuperUserAccount and PortalSuperReaderAccount are both set correctly. Just looking to see if anyone has experienced this and figured what was happening and how to fix it.

I am using OOBSS 2010.
I'm trying to create a calculated formula which will change the status of an item as multiple dates are entered in multiple columns.
Specifically, the item status should be 'New' when the item is created.
The status should change to 'Sent' when a date is entered into the "Letter Sent Date' column.
The status should change to 'Hearing' when a date is enterd into the 'Hearing Date' column. (The 'Letter Sent Date' column will continue to have a date.)
The status should change to 'Dealer Board' when a date is entered into the 'Board Case Date' column. (The 'Letter Sent Date' column and 'Hearing Date' column will continue to have a date.)
The status should change to 'Closed' when a date is entered into the 'Closed Date' column. ((The 'Letter Sent Date' column, 'Hearing Date' column, and 'Dealer Board' column will continue to have a date.)

I am chasing down some very strange issues in a customers SharePoint 2013 SP1 farm
Behavior
At some point there was an issue when the customer was creating new web applications where the web applications listed in SharePoint were not the same as the sites that were deployed in IIS. In Central Admin there were 22 web applications listed, but in IIS in one of the WFE servers there were only 18 IIS sites.
The customer originally had 4 WFE servers which showed a different number of sites on each WFE server. We went ahead and removed all but one WFE from the farm by removing via the config wizard. The other 3 WFE servers removed from the farm with no issue.
We then proceeded to delete the web applications via central admin that did not match with what was on the last remaining WFE server. There were 4 that had to be deleted. When we checked the WFE the 4 app pools were still present on the server so we manually deleted these.
All seemed to be fine as we then able to deploy the customers web app scoped solutions with no further errors about missing or corrupted web.config files.
ISSUE
Now we need to add the additional wfe servers back to the farm and are unable to do so.
We try to join the server via Connect-spconfigurationdatabase command, it runs for 5 mins or so and then fails with the error

While the server is trying to join I am watching IIS and I see all the current application pools created on the server and one of the IIS sites. Within a minute or so the number of application pools begins to reduce, the single site is deleted and the command fails with the error above.
What is strange is that there are 4 application pools left over on the server and two of them are application pools that were associated with the web applications that had been deleted from central admin.
I am trying to figure out where these old application pools could be being pulled from in the farm as they are not listed on any WFE servers or other app servers in the farm.
Any suggestions on things to look at is greatly appreciated.

We have several domains which are added to the sync-connection. so that user profiles from those domains get synced to SharePoint. But practically, for a few of the domains only a couple of users' profiles have been synced to SP.
Could anyone please suggest why for other users' in the domain their profiles are not getting migrated to SP.
i'm new to sharepoint. i have a small problem, i have created a customer service application and deploey it to sharepoint and tested it, and everything worked fine for me. now i checked the IIS and under Sharepoint Web Services i couldn't find my service, can anybody tell what can be the cause for such an issue and how i can see the guid of my service under Sharepoint Web Services in IIS (Make sure that this is a custom service application).
