My Content Type Hub (CTH) was causing issues, so I wanted to remove it completely and revisit it again at a later date. I would like my Managed MetaData Services (MMS) to be reset back to how they were before the CTH was introduced.
I removed the CTH site collection and database, but the CTH site is still referenced in the MMS. I understand that I cannot reconfigure the MMS. Do I just delete it and create a new one? Will that cause any issues? What is the best practice for this scenario? Thanks for any advice.
