Hi,
I have a tasks list on Sharepoint 2010, which users have set alerts on for items created/modified.
However, this list now has views on it so that you can only see tasks which are created by you or assigned to you.
Problem is, the alert is set to be raised when an item is created or modified, even if it does not belong to that person or created by that person. (e.g. John will get an alert when an item is created by Alex or modified by Adam or assigned to Ben).
Is there a way to security trim these alerts ootb? Or a simple-code-based approach?
