Paging within a library grouping -- bug?

Hope someone can help.

I've got a library/list whereby the default view is set to group items(Group By = Created By). Groupings are also set to be collapsed and item limit is set to 15.

When a grouping is expanded only the first 15 items are displayed, which is correct. If a grouping contains more than 15 items, the paging arrows appear just below the current grouping allowing one to navigate to the next page of results for the current grouping. Everything up to this point works just fine, but if I navigate back to the previous page of this expanded group, I see the result of the first grouping in my library/list and not the first results of my currently expanded group.

All my lists in my site collection that have grouping are behaving this way.

Is this a bug, or am I just the first person to come across this issue, hope it’s got nothing to do with upgrading from MOSS 2007.

Some additional info regarding my library view setting:
Sort:                     Created – ascending
Filter:                   None
Group By:           Created By – ascending

Number of groups to display per page – 60

Item Limit:         15 - Display items in batches of the specified size
