Central Administration returns blank page after installation on Windows 7

Hi, I have successfully installed SharePoint 2010 on Windows 7.  However when I browse to Central Administration, I just get a blank page.  I have been able to create a new web application and teamwork site using PowerShell, and that site also returns a blank page.  In the IIS log, I can see that the requests produce a 500 error.  Rerunning the Configuration Wizard has not helped.  Other ASP.NET sites run ok.

Any suggestions?
