When SharePoint's time job service restarts itself every day at 6:00am, the service will not start back up. The windows logs say the service account does not have the requireed user right "Log on as a service". However, when I look at gpedit.msc, under Computer Configuration --> Windows Settings --> Security Settings --> Local Policies --> User Rights Management --> log on as a service, the account is listed.
I am able to start the service by typing in the service account's password. As soon as I click Apply, I get a message that says "The account domain\service-account has been granted the Log On As A Service right".
My company's network admin has been changing a lot of permissions and I don't know what he did (nor does he) that would cause this to start happening. Any ideas?
