"Limited Access" grants too many permissions!

Hello all,

I'm having trouble with the "Limited Access" permission.  Ironically, it grantstoo many permissions!

1. We need to restrict Explorer View by removing the "Use Client Integration Features" permission for specific user groups. 
2. However, Limited Access has this granted by default, and cannot be edited.
3. SharePoint inevitably adds the Limited Access permission to users.
4. So even though we explicitly removed "Use Client Integration Features" from all editable permission levels, Limited Access overrides this and grants the permission to all users with Limited Access.

Is there any way around this?  Can you see what I'm trying to explain?
