Moving a sharepoint site

I have a sharepoint website that uses the url

http://<<servername>>/sites/home/SitePages/Home.aspx

However i would like to move it to

http://<<servername>>/SitePages/Home.aspx

eliminating the /sites/home

If i open sharepoint designer for the http://<<servername>>/SitePages/Home.aspx site there arent any subsites. How can i move my site so that i have the shorter URL?
