Exporting hyperlink fields to Microsoft Access

Hello,

I am trying to export a list of all documents from a library to a Microsoft Access 2010 database, but I'm having trouble with the Name field. SharePoint wants to export this as a Hyperlink field, but it looks like the contents are getting cut off at 256 chars. Has anyone seen this before?

In the SharePoint view I created, I've tried to select "Name (for use in forms)" instead of "Name (linked to document with edit menu)" as well as ". When I do this, the view itself displays just the text of the name, with no hyperlink. However, when I import this into Access, it still shows up as a hyperlink field and still gets cut off at 256 chars. If I try to use the "Name (linked to document)" option, then the imported table does not get a name field at all!

I'd like to get the full hyperlink imported, but I'd be okay if I could just get the text portion of the Name as well. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong, or how I can the whole field imported in?

Thanks in advance!
