FatalError: Failed to read package file. at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ImportDataFileManager.Uncompress(SPRequest

we tried to import the content  (MOSS 2007)

stsadm -o import -url http://site/ft -filename E:\data\fullbackup.cmp –Overwrite

We got the following error message.
