I'm back :P
Just thinking... I had my profile picture synced when I run profile sync. Why are there instances where there are users with successful profile picture sync and there are users which shows an "error" icon. I was able to navigate through the profile picture library and was able to see the thumbnails just fine but when I try to access/click on the thumbnail, the error icon appears.
I did a profile incremental crawl, profile full crawl and even an incremental and full search crawl. I even ran this command then re-ran all possible crawls.
Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -CreateThumbnailsForImportedPhotos 1 -MySiteHostLocation http://<mysite.com>
Please refer to what I call as "error" icon. I can see the names just fine and there are several users with successfully synced profile pics.
