Hello SharePoint Fam,
Content DB was currently at 32GB which is not the true size so i went and did a shrink and it got me to actual size which is 19GB. I then went ahead and changed Content DB recovery to Simple. I have been doing this everyday this past week due to the DB going right back to 32GB each day around 12AM? I thought content DB only grows like this when you have made a big change to a library/list? What could I be doing wrong that is causing the DB to go over 10GB of it's actual size instead of staying at 19GB currently? The only good thing is that the log file is no longer growing as it used to before the recovery change.
I did delete over 200 documents from a library a week ago, but I made sure I totally removed from both recycle bins in Site Collection recycle bin.
