Cumulative update issue

For sharepoint powerview performance issues, I found a solution at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2846345

FIX: Slow performance when you render a Power View report that uses a SQL Server 2012 SP1 PowerPivot workbook as its data source

But, this packet can't apply on Sharepoint 2010.

So, my question:

Does sharepoint 2010 + Sql 2012 also have this performance issue?

If so, how can we solve it?
