The worker process failed to initialize correctly and therefore could not be started. The data is the error.

I setup a Visio service application that is running under its own account on a two server farm (WFE and DB). However, the application pool fails whenever we call it.  When I look at the windows event logs I see the following message:

I've added it to various security groups trying to fix the issue. Its currenly part of: WSS_WPG, Performance Monitor Users, IIS_IUSRS group on the WFE and I made sure it was a DB_Owner on the content database.

I noticed that when I run the SQL profiler that the account never shows up as doing anything or executing anything on the sql server.

I'm thinking this is a connectivity issue.

If I change the service to run as the farm account it runs just fine with no errors.

Has anyone run into a similiar issue?
