Inking Disappears from DOCX files stored in Sharepoint 2010 Document Library Since FEB CU

Hi everyone,

I have an unusual issue, where after the FEB 2013 CU was applied, any DOCX document that has had inking correction added to it is corrupted when uploaded to a SharePoint Document Library. The file appears to still have the inking data in it, but it doesn't show when the file is opened. New inking also magically disappears.

I've tested it on two different farms, one our production environment and the other a vanilla dev one. We are running SharePoint 2010 Server Standard. I've also applied the APRIL CU on our DEV environment and the problem still exists.

I'm guessing this might result in a support call, but is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any thoughts?

The corrupted files seem to have a CustomXML component added to the DOCX file, which I'm guessing has something to do with the Document Parser in SharePoint, but I'm not sure what else to test.

Regards,

Glenn.
