Correlation error - Site Collection Audit Log - Can't find log entry correlation error

Hi All,

I went to site actions | site settings | Audit log reports (under site collection administration).  I received the following error:

"Error
An unexpected error has occurred.

Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

Correlation ID: 0fb03486-4c2e-4dad-90c3-0b0bf77200ba

Date and Time: 4/29/2013 2:52:30 PM"

 I  went to each of my two WFE's and opened up the Log in ULS Viewer and searched (edit | find) for the first part of the correlation id. I searched up and down without succcess.

So I have two problems:

1. How do I fix my auditing problem so I can turn on auditing

2. How do you trouble shoot problems with correlation id's and no corresponding log entry?
